just installed php 4.3.0 with apache2 on xp, took me a few hours (persistence rules) but after
moving php4ts.dll to system32 and shifting a few dlls back to where they came from it appears to
work
(dont forget that if a php site appears to be failing even though you;re *sure* you installed it
right this time, it could be cached. happened to me :) try replacing localhost with 127.0.0.1, or
vice versa, it should force your browser to read the page afresh (unless its cached on both
addresses) )
