i had been using PHP as cgi for a around a year and half, never could use it as apache module,
everytime I ended up using it as CGI as something went wrong!
the key is to copy both the php4apache2.dll and php4ts.dll to the "%SYSTEMROOT%/system32"
and "C:\php\sapi" folders. venonx was right about the sapi module.
