Any good solution to make multiline strings be correctly picked
up by xgettext? PHP does not need/want a backslash inside
a string when it wraps to the next line, unlike C, and xgettext
chokes on this. Having all messages on separate lines makes
the translator's job much harder.
If xgettext would support the PHP language directly. this
likely would be solved. I found references to PHP being
supported by gettext, but that might not include a PHP mode
in the xgettext command. Any clues?
