The bzcompress should not include the BZ headers... it only returns the compressed data wihout any
file informations.
I use bzcompress with bzwrite and it's work like the bzip program... All is fine!
I made a test to get the faster method :
with 100 iterations that compress 32Ko of random data I obtain :
bzip file method : 1.987 seconds
bzcompress php lib : 1.122 seconds
