Hi,
Hi vincent,
since notes are now highlighted when there is <?php ?> code in there
it would be nice to see most of the notes with examples highlighted.
some examples don't have <?php ?>
around them and won't be highlighted
should I / we start with editing the notes and add those <?php ?> around codes?
I was about to drop a mail regarding this ;)
I've already asked Gabor to add a little note on the submission page to encourage the use of <?php ?> when supplying a note to the manual, he'll surreley take care of that.
IMHO, you shouldn't start a mass editing work on the notes.
cece has come with a really beautifull patch for the highlighting purpose, but it should'nt give us more work.
If you're editing a note (to correct the script, or add a tip) and the tags are missing, feel free to add them, it won't take you much more time.
Later, we'll can take mass actions for a particular chapter. For example, we'll chose to clean up all the mysql_XXX notes.
It's what I'll practice regarding this until a howto show up, feel free to follow me or to act just as you want ;)
