If you're using MySql to store files and you're not able to save a file larger than 1M and
you're certain that your php configuration is correct, check your my.cnf file (the mysql
configuration file) to see if the max_allowed_packet variable is set to meet the size of your file.
The default is 1M, so it is normal that any files which exceeds that size can't be saved.
You may change this variable to allow the storage of large files.
