I get this error because I need to authenticate a user name and password with my own smtp mail
server. How do I add this so my mail will work?

verify your "SMTP" and "smtp_port" setting in php.ini or use ini_set()
It works fine if I disable authentication but then spammers send thousands of emails through my smtp
server. Running Windows 2000 Server, 2003 Exchange Server and IIS v5
