Maybe it was my missunderstanding, but I could not make back reference work on my PHP
4.2.3/Win32/IIS5. Neither below used example:
((?i)rah)\s+\1
worked for me. After hours of hopeless debugging I tried to add one more backslash to back
reference:
((?i)rah)\s+\\1
- at the moment it started to work:-)
