I have used array_join_merge() which
dev-null@christophe.vg
has posted here. It is really useful for me.
However I found that I should use
return ($arr2 !== null) ? $arr2 : $arr1;
instead of
return $arr2 ? $arr2 : $arr1;
However, it might depend on your purpose.
