this worked for me, handy if you format you harddrive once a month.. change the paths to the correct
paths of your installation.
PHP 5 and Apache 2 on Win2k:
* Stop Apache.
* Extract PHP.
* Make the 'tmp' map in the PHP dir
* Copy all dlls in the PHP map /dll to the root PHP map
* Rename php.ini-dist it to php.ini.
* Edit php.ini:
- change the following settings:
doc_root = "E:\Programs\Apache2\htdocs"
extension_dir = "e:\Programs\PHP\extensions"
include_path = "e:\Programs\PHP\includes"
upload_tmp_dir = "e:\Programs\PHP\tmp"
error_reporting = E_ALL
SMTP = mail.chello.nl
session.save_path = "e:\Programs\PHP\tmp"
* Edit httpd.conf:
- add these lines:
ScriptAlias /php/ "e:/Programs/PHP/"
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .php3 .phtml
AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps
Action application/x-httpd-php "/php/php.exe"
<IfModule mod_dir.c>
DirectoryIndex index.html index.php default.php main.php
</IfModule>
- modify:
ServerSignature Off
* Restart Apache.
