As the man page for this function states, calls to setlocale() with a category corresponding to the category of item, or to the category LC_ALL, may overwrite buffer pointed by the return value. In other words, when you want to print "januari" (Dutch) for the first month of the year, you would do: <? setlocale (LC_ALL, 'nl_NL'); echo nl_langinfo(MON_1); ?> See the manual entry for setlocale() for more info. ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.nl-langinfo.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+38351 Delete -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+38351&report=yes Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+38351&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
