When you submit a form which posts a file to the supplied PHP-script the file is uploaded to the
memory and upon completion the file is written to the
$_FILES['userfile']['tmp_name'] and the script is executed and the file is
deleted after the script has execued. Is there a way of telling PHP to buffer this upload directly
to the tmp_name instead of the memory? When I upload large files and manually monitor the /tmp
folder no file is written.
