On my webserver (Apache 2.x, php 4.3) with the register_globals set to 'Off' I can still
use session_register().
The notes on this page are a bit confusing.
I can use session_register('somevar') with no problem, as long as the browser accepts
cookies it works without a hitch.
I don't know if they mean you cannot use it to set a value to the variable or not, but I have
verified that, in fact, all variables are only contained in $_POST or $_GET etc. so I know globals
are really off, yet this still works, even though it says it can't be used.
