I utterly failed to achieve a file download with IE6 using headers, even with all of the hints and
suggestions on this page. Finally, I used a different approach, that worked:
<?
$filedata = "one,two,three,four";
file_put_contents("test.csv", $filedata);
header("Location: test.csv");
?>
