from the previous post, it took me a few minutes to realize but your logic is backwards on your
example. It should be this:
$url = "http://www.google.it/intl/it_it/images/logo.gif";
if (remote_file_exists ($url))
{ print ($url . " file exists!"); }
else
{ print ($url . " file doesn't exists!"); }
just to save someone else a few minutes of WTF!
