Win2kServer, IIS 5.0, PHP 4.0.4pl1 ISAPI version
I followed the IIS4.0+ install instructions, and kept getting HTTP 500 - Internal Server Errors.
This was solved by copying php4ts.dll to \winnt\system32.
Then, I got HTTP 404 - File not found errors. This was cured by installing PHP as a filter, as
described in the install.txt file (step 5 of the install). Previously I had ommitted this step,
thinking that I didn't want HTTP authentication. However, until I completed this step, nothing
would work.
One last tip - don't try and install PHP4 in \Program Files\php4. It seems that IIS (4 at
least) doesn't allow spaces in the file names for filters. Go figure!!
