Alot of people have suggested adding the rest of your page onto the die statement. A more readable
way of doing it is simply :
$footer = <<< FOOTER
</tr></table>Copyright foos (c) 1345
FOOTER;
-- then --
die("<b>Error :</b>" .mysql_error(). $footer);
I find that to be easier to read and flows a little better. I happen to use that to define the
templates in my page so i use it all the time.
