I'm confused about the '--with-servlet' option. I'm using jakarta-tomcat, so I
set '--with-servlet=/usr/local/tomcat' (the base install dir). When the configure script
tried to test my c++ compiler (gcc 2.96-0.48mdk on Mandrake Linux 8.0, custom kernel 2.4.6), it says
my complier cannot make executables. Removing the '--with-servlet' option fixes the
problem. (tomcat version - 3.2, jdk 1.3,)
