<p>Worth noticing is that session_register() does not "put" the variable in the
session at the time session_register() is used.</p><p>Instead, what is stored is the
final value of the variable when the php script is done.</p><p>Therefore this is better:
session_register("testVar");
$testVar = 4;
$testVar = 5; // 5 is stored</p><p>than this:
$testVar = 4;
$testVar = 5;
session_register("testVar");</p>
