a real simple method to reset an integer to a the next lowest multiple of a divisor
$startSeq = $startSeq - ($startSeq % $entriesPerPage);
if $startSeq was already a multiple, then " $startSeq % $entriesPerPage " will return 0
and $startSeq will not change.
