XOR encryption cannot be broken unless you have two elements of the following three: -The cleartext -The key -The encrypted output With only one of these, decryption is impossible. If the key is not random or is looped, patterns can be found. A perfect random number generator would be to tune a radio to a frequency with no station on it and record a sound file of the noise. This is residual electromagnetic noise from the big bang and is considered perfectly random. ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.gmp-xor.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+46607 Delete -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+46607&report=yes Reason: bad code -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+46607&report=yes&reason=bad+code Reason: spam -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+46607&report=yes&reason=spam Reason: useless example -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+46607&report=yes&reason=useless+example Reason: contains commercial links -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+46607&report=yes&reason=contains+commercial+links Reason: useless note -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+46607&report=yes&reason=useless+note Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+46607&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
