I noticed a problem at my SMTP-Server which accepts only mail with the format "Recipent Name" <eMail-Adress> only. I tried to use the email-adress only and it didn't work out. An example: 220 smtp.my-server.com ESMTP Postfix helo you 250 smtp.my-server.com mail from: me@my-domain.com 501 Bad address syntax mail from: <me@my-domain.com> 250 Ok quit 221 Bye So i used the "<" and ">" in the FROM-Field. <?php mail("<".$email.">", $mailsubject, $mailtext,"From: <".$mailfrom.">\r\nX-Mailer: PHP/".phpversion()); ?> Maybe it helps you to track the problem if your script sends an email and it wouldn't arrive at the recipents mailbox. ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.mail.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+46961 Delete -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+46961&report=yes Reason: bad code -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+46961&report=yes&reason=bad+code Reason: spam -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+46961&report=yes&reason=spam Reason: useless example -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+46961&report=yes&reason=useless+example Reason: contains commercial links -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+46961&report=yes&reason=contains+commercial+links Reason: useless note -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+46961&report=yes&reason=useless+note Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+46961&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
