with regard to [dave at corecomm dot us]'s comment : "tbellefy at yahoo dot com" and "post at penest dot no" needed to change timezones with date and used mktime(). That certainly works, but all the individual date() calls seems like a lot of effort. The date() call can be pared down : $now = mktime(date("H")+5, date("i, s, m, d, Y")); for UTC on an EST server ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.date.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+47489 Delete -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+47489&report=yes Reason: bad code -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+47489&report=yes&reason=bad+code Reason: spam -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+47489&report=yes&reason=spam Reason: useless example -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+47489&report=yes&reason=useless+example Reason: contains commercial links -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+47489&report=yes&reason=contains+commercial+links Reason: useless note -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+47489&report=yes&reason=useless+note Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+47489&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
