Important to note that default 1.3.28 windows installation installs the apache service as running as
system. If you want to use ODBC connectivity you will have to alter the service startup parameters
so that it logs on using a domain account rather than the system account. PHP is unable to load ODBC
drivers while running as system.
To alter the startup parameters (in NT 4) go to control panel -> services -> apache then click
on the startup button.
