J2EE and MS ASP.NET are both expensive solutions in long run. If your audience is the web, and if
you dont have more than 4-6 zeros in funding (which means strict resources), I'd suggest the
php-mysql route first. I've seen far too many people with really good ideas fail because they
choose the route of having the long development time using high end "stuff", while they
knew they had limited resources.
Why choose a big hammer when your arms cannot support it.
By the time they release something, the phenomenom has passed................
