I cannot get Apache/2.0.46 and PHP/4.3.2 (as supplied with RHEL3) to use content negotiation on PHP
files. I have tried:
# supplied by RH
<Files *.php>
SetOutputFilter PHP
SetInputFilter PHP
LimitRequestBody 524288
</Files>
and
# from http://uk.php.net/manual/en/install.unix.apache2.php
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
and
# from http://tranchant.plus.com/notes/multiviews
AddHandler php-script php
AddType text/html php
...as mentioned in another comment to no avail. Multiviews *do* work on non-PHP files (e.g.
negotiation between .html and .txt). The exact same pages / urls etc. work on Apache/1.3.26
PHP/4.1.2.
Any advice on how to at least diagnose this problem further greatly appreciated.
