php.ini is ignored
phpinfo(), tells me this:
PHP Version 4.3.10
System Windows NT AALIME 5.0 build 2195
Build Date Dec 14 2004 17:46:48
Server API Apache 2.0 Handler
Virtual Directory Support enabled
Configuration File (php.ini) Path C:\WINNT
--
Changes on php.ini are not reflected after apache restart, or apache stop, apache start, or Windows
Restart.
In fact, I even delete the file, and PHP still works...
I put errors in it, and nothing, no error messages.
Is there anywhere else I should look for php.ini?
I did a search for it in the hard drive, and all I find is
c:\winnt\php.ini
c:\php\php.ini-dist
c:\php\php.ini-recommended
This is the twilight zone really. Usually when I run an install on windows, I always get errors
trying to load the extensions, this time, I found out php.ini wasn't working since I
uncommented all the
extension=xxxxx.dll
entries, and got no errors... so I refreshed my phpinfo test page (after a restart) to see if the
modules were loaded, and nothing was loaded. That's when I noticed nothing else was changed,
like error_reporting, or register_globals
