I was able to run MySQL4.1.10 with PHP5.0.3 successfully in a Windows environment by manually typing PHPIniDir C:\php\ in httpd.conf the steps are as follow 1. Go to the apache folder at c:\program files\apache\apache\conf\ 2. Open httpd.conf using Notepad 3. go to ‘Section 1: Global Environment’ and under it write PHPIniDir C:\php\ 4. change c:\php\ to wherever your php files are in 5. save the document and restart Apache I also obtained LIBMYSQLI.DLL that was missing in PHP.5.0.3 by unZIpping PHP5.0.2 (which has one) and copying PHP5.0.3 directly on top of the 5.0.2 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.mysql.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+51411 Delete: added to the manual -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+51411&report=yes&reason=added+to+the+manual Delete: bad code -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+51411&report=yes&reason=bad+code Delete: spam -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+51411&report=yes&reason=spam Delete: useless -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+51411&report=yes&reason=useless Delete: other reasons -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+51411&report=yes Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+51411&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
