does session_register() save the session to the users computer? or do I use setcookie() to save the session when the user closes out their web browser for later when they revisit the site? I know session data is saved across web pages as you surf, but how do you store that session to the users computer for retrieval later when they come back at a later time? do you use setcookie or session_register? ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.session-unset.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+53971 Delete: added to the manual -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+53971&report=yes&reason=added+to+the+manual Delete: bad code -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+53971&report=yes&reason=bad+code Delete: spam -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+53971&report=yes&reason=spam Delete: useless -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+53971&report=yes&reason=useless Delete: non-english -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+53971&report=yes&reason=non-english Delete: other reasons -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+53971&report=yes Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+53971&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
