note 56416 added to function.mssql-connect

I am running on PHP5.0.4, IIS6, and MSSQL SERVER 2000 with SP3, I encountered a problem when I used the command mssql_connect(), it doesn't connect to server every time, often failed, the error is "Warning mssql_connect()[function mssql-connect]:Unable to connect to server localhost in c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\DTRI-WEBSITE\mainmenu.php on line 13" Can anybody give me advice? Thanks in advance. ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.mssql-connect.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+56416 Delete: added to the manual -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+56416&report=yes&reason=added+to+the+manual Delete: bad code -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+56416&report=yes&reason=bad+code Delete: spam -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+56416&report=yes&reason=spam Delete: useless -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+56416&report=yes&reason=useless Delete: non-english -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+56416&report=yes&reason=non-english Delete: other reasons -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+56416&report=yes Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+56416&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
