Another solution to dissapearing $_SESSION[] information after redirect... It's mentioned above about 'white space' at the end of the file causing session information to be dropped. Long story short, I also found white spaces between php code was causing the same problem. ie. <?php // set sessions ?> // html code <?php header("Location..."); ?> I grouped all the php code together and it worked - and as mentioned by other users, the problem was only limited to IE. ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.session-start.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+57031 Delete: added to the manual -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+57031&report=yes&reason=added+to+the+manual Delete: bad code -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+57031&report=yes&reason=bad+code Delete: spam -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+57031&report=yes&reason=spam Delete: useless -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+57031&report=yes&reason=useless Delete: non-english -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+57031&report=yes&reason=non-english Delete: already in docs -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+57031&report=yes&reason=already+in+docs Delete: other reasons -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+57031&report=yes Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+57031&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
