Another solution to dissapearing $_SESSION[] information after redirect...
It's mentioned above about 'white space' at the end of the file causing session
information to be dropped.
Long story short, I also found white spaces between php code was causing the same problem.
ie.
<?php
// set sessions
?>
// html code
<?php
header("Location...");
?>
I grouped all the php code together and it worked - and as mentioned by other users, the problem was
only limited to IE.
