----
Unlike some PHP functions it appears as if is_readable() requires a file's absolute path in PHP
4.3.11. Example:
<?php
is_readable("filename.txt"); // returns false
is_readable("/absolutepath/filename.txt"); // returns true
?>
stat() even goes as far as to say the file isn't there. If I've made a mistake, please
e-mail me.
