Just a quick side note. It seems that Umlaute in words cause a problem when using array_search e.g.:
<?php
$strings = array("Bücher", "Föhn", "Männer");
echo array_search("Bücher", $strings);
//Will return 0
if("Bücher"==$strings[0])
echo "Match found";
//This will echo "Match found"
?>
