Hi
I recently installed and used the Net::Ping module. Here are some
small errors i found in the documentation (at least at
http://pear.php.net/manual/en/packages.networking.net_ping.php)
I think the name Net_Ping::ping is incorrect because Ping is located in
Net - so i think it should be changed to Net::Ping ? Not a bug just a
thought...
In the example code are 2 bugs - a bracket is missing and the require
directive is incorrect:
require_once "Net_Ping/Ping.php";
should be
require_once "Net/Ping.php";
print_r($ping->ping("127.0.0.1");
should be
print_r($ping->ping("127.0.0.1"));
The Module itself works great from what i can tell, just thought
debugging the docs helps too. I installed Ping using
pear install http://pear.php.net/get/Net_Ping
which worked w/o problems.
Yours
Mike
