Hello, Is XML_Tree still supposed to be used, or is it replaced by the more general Tree class ?yes!
Let me explain, XML_Tree is not fully functionnal, for example $parent=&$this->get_node_by_path($path); in insertChild method of XML_Tree/Tree.php is a method which does not exist. The team noticed that there is the insertChild in Node.php, it seems to be the one to use. Is the insertChlid of tree.php deprecated or something ?the Tree-class which works on XML files is not able to write XML-files yet. so XML_Tree should stay, since it provides that i guess. and the XML_Tree is for a special purpose, and the Tree is a more general package, so i think XML_Tree is useful also beside the Tree-pacakge. my 2 cents -- Wolfram ... opensource @ vision:produktion ... http://opensource.visionp.de ... translating template engine .... http://sf.net/projects/simpletpl ... authentication system .... http://sf.net/projects/auth
