freshmeat. zend-mailingarchives,weekly summaries. google. pear.php.net.
I didn't know, it's that difficult to find :)

I think, I announced it once on their mailinglist as well, but that was
back in november 2001 and their mailingarchive doesn't go back till
then, so I can't prove that :)

I didn't do a lot since months on my extension. Just some fixes some
people contributed. And I didn't look through your code, either.
Therefore I can't really argue, which one is better :) I also would not
be against dumping my code and just use yours (though, i put also quite
a lot of my time into that extension back then, since IM is really a
beast memory-handling wise :) ) and put yours into PEAR/PECL. BUT, i'd
really would like to have some kind of Backwords Compatibility with my
API. But if this is too much work, then let it be and we just make a big
Warnign :)
The main problem for me is at the moment, that I really have no time in
contributing to any imagemagick extension. That would be an argument for
your code again, since you look like having time :)
I hope, I find some calm minutes, when I can browse through your code
and make up my mind :)
Anyway, would you be interested at all to put your code into PEAR/PECL?
(this mail goes to pear-dev@lists.php.net as well )
