It's very easy. Example:
function_entry pear_functions[] = {
PHP_FALIAS(is_error, PEAR_isError, NULL)
{NULL, NULL, NULL}
};
static zend_function_entry php_class_functions_pear[] = {
...
PHP_FALIAS(iserror, PEAR_isError, NULL)
...
{NULL, NULL, NULL}
};
However, there's nothing stopping you from using classes as a namespace
without making objects:
$handle = imagick::readimage('foo.jpg');
