Hi,
I've been creating a implementation for php's new socket extension.
(There was a thread open about that (I changed from nntp -> mailing list))
Socket_Base
Socket_Base([resource])
connect()
bind()
listen()
accept(resource || object)
send(message[, length[, flags]])
recv([length,[ flags]])
close()
select([which,[ sec,[ usec]]])
getSocket()
setBlock([switch])
setSilent([switch])
handleWarning(message)
handleError(message)
Socket_TCP
Socket_TCP(address, port)
Socket_UDP
Socket_UDP(address. port)
Socket_UNIX
Socket_UNIX(address[, type])
delete()
Socket_List
add(resource || object)
del(resource || object)
clear()
setBlock([switch])
select([which,[ sec,[ usec]]])
getSockets()
setSilent([switch])
handleWarning(message)
handleError(message)
It consists of 5 files now: Base.php, TCP.php, UDP.php, UNIX.php and List.php.
But what's your opinion about this new Socket stuff now ?
bye
