I hope it works now. But there could be some stupid reference issues ;) http://0x03.dynip.yawsp.de/Socket.tgz On Thu, 28 Nov 2002 17:31:30 +0100 LIMBOURG Arnaud <arnaud.limbourg@cegetel.fr> wrote:
It is interesting imho. Plus, as the rule is that any package of high quality can make it into pear i don't see any problem for this particular package to make it. Arnaud.
Hi, I've been creating a implementation for php's new socket extension. (There was a thread open about that (I changed from nntp -> mailing list)) Socket_Base Socket_Base([resource]) connect() bind() listen() accept(resource || object) send(message[, length[, flags]]) recv([length,[ flags]]) close() select([which,[ sec,[ usec]]]) getSocket() setBlock([switch]) setSilent([switch]) handleWarning(message) handleError(message) Socket_TCP Socket_TCP(address, port) Socket_UDP Socket_UDP(address. port) Socket_UNIX Socket_UNIX(address[, type]) delete() Socket_List add(resource || object) del(resource || object) clear() setBlock([switch]) select([which,[ sec,[ usec]]]) getSockets() setSilent([switch]) handleWarning(message) handleError(message) It consists of 5 files now: Base.php, TCP.php, UDP.php, UNIX.php and List.php. But what's your opinion about this new Socket stuff now ? bye -- PEAR Development Mailing List (http://pear.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
