thanks for answering - but if I understand you correctly and the mssql_*
functions are simply aliases for the sybase ones, it shouldn´t really
matter what I use, does it?
Also, that wouldn´t explain my problem. I´ve taken a close look at DB´s
mssql driver - I´m not really surprised to see the same methods there
that I have used without DB (how else would DB be able to access mssql?),
but still I´m puzzled that my standalone test script works just fine
while the same script using PEAR::DB doesn´t.
It simply doesn´t make sense.
