The problem with Zend StudioI honestly don't think they are against open source projects (what is php after all), just perhaps misguided in their implementation of a good idea. It is admittedly simpler to parse doc comments that only have tags, and it seems that this may just be a speed consideration. phpDocumentor is not the kind of tool you want churning away every time you type in a comment in your source code :). It's the kind of tool you run when the comments are finished, and for huge projects, it's the kind of tool you start running and then go off for a coffee break. Incidentally, we're hoping to shorten that interval to a bathroom break when the tokenizer stabilizes ;) k', rethought this, and you're probably right. Sorry.that none of the tags are standard, so the @param tag will not work, and there was one other that I can't remember which was formatted differently. People who wish to use the Zend Studio format will be stuck with the Zend Studio output for small details, but @desc will be (grudgingly) supported.nice, is this because they couldnt use phpDocumentor yet at that stage, or is it a trick to avoid being passed by by OpenSource solutions?
