I asked Sascha about this at the conference. The current build
system is really geared toward generating one SAPI extension (or
module?) per run.
However, that's not to say that this logic can't be changed,
which would be ideal for PHP 4.0.7.
I (personally) don't know the correct way to go about making
those changes for this kind of behavior, however.
