Hi Roberto, great debut :-) The only thing I can see that should probably be done before a release is to remove the small indenting inconsistencies (sometimes you use tabs, another time spaces, most of the time a mixture of both :-)). But that´s pure cosmetics and besides that, this is a great class and I´d love to see it in PEAR. So +1 from me. If you wish to use the CVS server on php.net for development, you´ll need to request an additional CVS account (sorry, I lost the URL...
