Here I attach 2 patches to Net_SMTP class
SMTP.php_debugging and SMTP.php_CRAM-MD5
SMTP.php_debugging: adds a setDebug() method to allow to do some basic
debuging (very useful to debug the CRAM-MD5 patch!)
this patch prints the STMP dialog between the client and the server.
SMTP.php_CRAM-MD5: adds the CRAM-MD5 authentication method
also, if the server allows this method, this patch uses it by default (
the CRAM-MD5 method don't send the password in clear text so your
password can't be stolen by a network sniffer) . I tested it and works
OK with postfix
I've learn from my coding mistakes, so I think this patch is a better
quality patch!
Please Commit those changes. Thanks!!!
PS: Please allow me 1 or 2 weeks to develop the DIGEST-MD5 patch
