I guess the flag should say 'ignore_updates' = 1 (and it will ignore updates), the debug is inherited from older versions - where if you set debuglevel above 1, it would turn of updates - I got feedback that this 'magical behaviour' was not really that intuative - so It go it's own flag..
given this - I'll change it to just 'read_only' or 'select_only' in the next release - this should be very clear..
It was useful, a long while ago, when developing stuff, and you dont want to make too much of a mess of the database by commiting stuff over and over again..

Need Consulting Services or Know of a Job? http://www.akbkhome.comJeroen, I had a similar problem, you must modify a few settings if using 0.11 - in your options array, you must add a new element, 'debug_ignore_updates' as followsIn 0.13 debug_ignore_updates' => 1 causes my updates to fail again. I don't know if this is the expected behaviour. I removed the line and updates work again. Jeroen$options = array( 'database' => 'mysql://root@localhost/db', 'schema_location' => '/path/to/schema', 'class_location' => '/path/to/class', 'require_prefix' => 'DataObjects/', 'class_prefix' => 'DataObjects_', 'debug' => 0, 'production' => 1, 'debug_ignore_updates' => 1 );
