HTTP_Request again depends on Net_Socket and Net_URL. I really want to
keep the number of packages required to make the installer work as low as
possible, to reduce the number of unknowns somewhat.
Let's make a compromise:
The HTTPS support is implemented in a separate method (for example
sendPayloadHTTPS10). The first thing you do in this method is
@include_once "HTTP/Request.php", and if it fails you raise an error about
requiring HTTP_Request for HTTPS support (I do the same thing in
PEAR/Remote.php for XML_RPC).
This won't interfere with the installer, but make room for HTTPS support.
