Validate - to validate the entered data before saving/updating still missing (whatever they might be named): SearchHandler - which makes the data searchable SortHandler - to sort the data on certain columns ot other criteria DisplayHandler - which controls the representation of the data and may be at some (later) step an interface which lets you define how to use those different packages to (auto-)create such a datagrid component... what i just want to say is that i think the datagrid thing might become a PEAR-component (or application) one day which is made out of multiple packages. and HTML_PageHandler (in my eyes) is not meant to be the final datagrid package, just a little piece of the whole just my thoughts on that -- Wolfram ... translating template system ... http://os.visionp.de/modules/project/HTML_Template_Xipe .. authentication system .... http://sf.net/projects/auth ... and more at .... http://opensource.visionp.deok, here we go again another step towards the data-grid kinda thing.+1 for this. Even if there are still a few steps to go before getting to the data-grid, I think this is the kind of component that needs a lot of evolution before getting to it's final form, and having it in pear is a necessary first step so that people can play with it and improve on it.May be the name is discussable, but since it is clearly HTML-centered I think/hope it is ok.I think it doesn't belong into HTML. If the objective is to end up with a DataGrid, then Application_DataGrid or something like that might be more appropriate. What do you think?
