Re: Help Package?

Hi, Is anyone working on a help package? I am thinking about something that reads an XML file which has documentation strings organized by topic and subtopic, and retrievable by context. There would be a method to retrieve raise a tooltip or popup help window based on context. Another to dump all helps formatted like a manual or quickref. If no one is working on one, I would consider lifting the one from Horde, which is GPLd, and PEAR-ifying it. as long as it's LGPL .. - just ask the horde guys if it's ok... (GPL code for libraries like PEAR is very problematic re: FAQ)

Perhaps the XML file could be Open office? - just a though.... Regards Alan
