So far we have Christians RFC plus the discussion on the ML. We are currently planning to hold a meeting on may 9th in Amsterdam where hopefully a lot of PEAR developers can meet up. Everybody that cant make it in person will be able to participate via a life video/audio stream and irc. > PHPUnit and pear script > ----------------------- > > There's a small but usefull tutorial on PHPUnit usage on pear.php.net but > i just can't find any information about launching an automatic test suite > based on PHPUnit (pear run-tests command or something like > that). It seems that PHPUnit is making great in roads into PEAR. > * Is it possible ? Unfortunately no one has written a wrapper yet. But if someone where to do it it would be awesome. Actually I have already tried to find someone interested. I sometimes come up with stuff I would love to happen and hope that one of those students with too much free time pick the idea up (BTW: anyone interested in writing an MDB driver for a file based DB with an SQL interface that I found?). > * Is there a way to automatically launch the test process on `pear > install` ? No, but that was also under discussion in the context of the PFC's. > * Is there a standard way to prompt user for data (like test db dsn) or > does > a test script has to handle this by itself ? Well I can speak for the PHPUnit tests of MDB. There you have to manually configure a config script in order to run the tests. > * Is there some test db driver, which provides dummy data for tests ? What do you mean? Regards, Lukas
